Biography

After spending several relatively successful seasons at Forfar, Campbell was appointed manager in December of 1996 after John Brogan's departure, but he failed to make any sort of improvement and the club finished the season rock bottom, before Campbell left the club in fairly acrimonious, moving to Montrose just weeks after ruling the move out in the press.

After a mediocre period at Montrose, Campbell went on to become an extremely well spoken of youth coach at St. Johnstone.
