Biography

Walter Borthwick joined the club as manager in the summer of 1991, having spend most of the 80s as a first team coach at Hearts following a 16 year playing career including a 7 year spell at East Fife.

Borthwick's reign at Gayfield only lasted half a year as he left in the December of 1991 to take up a coaching role with the SFA, where he stayed working until his retirement in March 2013.
