Match Report

Richard Bowers grabbed the winner as Queen's Park earned a deserved three points at Gayfield against disappointing Arbroath.

Arbroath started brightly, but the visitors took control and went into the lead when Alan Trouten crashed home a Bowers cross from six yards.

Bowers volleyed home a perfect cross from Mark Ferry on the left flank.

Barry Sellars fired a 30-yard drive inside Mark Cairns' right-hand post, but Queen's held on for victory.
