Biography
Hastie was signed from St Anthonys in the summer of 1937 as a backup full back to cover for Bill Fordyce and Atillio Becci. Due to their excellent form, he only managed to make one competitive appearance in the Forfarshire Cup before going on loan to Brechin City in late autumn. He returned to the club in the spring, but made no further appearances for the club and was given a free transfer at the end of the season.
