Biography
McDowall initially played with Kirkmuirhill Juniors and spent a spell in England with Newcastle Utd but after a very bad injury he failed to break through and returned to Scotland, signing for ourselves just after the start of the 1939-40 season. He only ever featured once competitively for the club, playing in an Emergency Wartime cup game against Dumbarton in March 1940.
