Mark Bennett

Biography

Mark was signed on loan from Forfar Athletic in late December 1988, with his loan being made permanent for a fee of £5000 after he impressed manager John Young. He spent just under two and a half years at Gayfield, spending most of this time in the starting 11 and almost being an ever present in the team during the 1990-91 season. He left the club at the end of that campaign and would go on to have managerial spells with Carnoustie Panmure and Arbroath Sporting Club.
