Gavin Lang

Biography

Gavin was signed in June 1948 after his release from Partick Thistle. He initially slotted into the team at inside left before moving to his preferred outside left position in mid-September and spending the rest of the 1948-49 season as our regular left winger. He continued to feature regularly up until early January 1950 when he dropped out of the starting 11 and after making just three further appearances up until the end of the campaign, he was transfer listed at the end of the season and in mid-July Hereford Utd paid £250 for his services.
