Jimmy Binning

Biography

Jimmy was signed from Strathclyde Juniors in July 1948, the left back having previously had a spell with Clyde during the early 1940s. He spent three years at Gayfield, and was our regular left back throughout this time, rarely missing a game before being transferred to Queen of the South in early July 1951 where he would go on to spend the next eight seasons, receiving a Scottish League cap in April 1954.
