Biography
McWattie, who played as a half back but was mainly a forward, mainly played in the second 11 but was called up to the first team for games between 1879 and 1882. He had a father, James snr, who was heavily involved in the club also.
James' younger brother of 15 years George played for the club in the 1890s and he went on to represent Scotland.
