Timeline

  • Date of Birth

Craig was born on this date in Aberdeen.

  • Signed For Arbroath

Feroz signed from Berwick in the summer of 2002 and was a regular feature upfront for us during the 02-03 campaign before he moved on to junior football in the summer of 2003.

  • Having made the long journey south from Orkney on Thursday evening to Stonehaven, I had a day to recover prior to setting off for Gayfield to see my first competitive match of the new season. Passing near to Dingwall, on the road south, I recalled the superb sunshine and Lichties fighting display on the first day of last season when they got a great win at Victoria Park. Waking up on Saturday morning, I found that it was yet another typical Scottish summer’s day – yes it was pissing down. Heading down to Arbroath early to meet up with John Boyle, one of the many Web player sponsors who was over on holiday from North America, in Tutties to collect his £25 the weather did dry up and I was sure I saw a glimpse of blue sky through the clouds.

  • John Brownlie’s team were tactically under prepared for this cup-tie and yet again we make no progression. Hinchcliffe had hurt his back in training this week, giving a competitive debut to Garry Gow in goal. With a change of keeper, it is not the time to change last week’s solid back four into a three. But that’s what he did. Currie, Ritchie and Browne are all perfectly competent players, but they did not know where to position themselves and how to cope attacks down the flanks and players cutting in from midfield. In the first half they were over run and unsure of what to do they back off from challenging and the shots rained in. Our midfield five consisted of Bowman on the right, McAulay, McGlashan, Cargill and Henslee. McDowell had recovered from feeling unwell last week to partner Feroz upfront. Jordan Tait was in the stand beside Flo, so the subs were Heenan, Swankie, young keeper Woodcock, and the returning McInally and Cusick.

  • Arbroath stunned 10-man Falkirk with two late strikes for a shock victory.

  • Last Appearance - Falkirk 4 - 1 Arbroath

Hat-trick hero Owen Coyle clinched the title in sensational style then made an emotional plea for the Bairns to be admitted to the Premier League.
