  • It is now 4 weeks since I last saw the Lichties play a full football match (against Queens Park at Hampden) due the untimely exit from the Scottish Cup, my skiing holiday in Switzerland and the flight back arriving too late to allow me to catch up with the away match against Stirling Albion and finally the 37 minutes of the abandoned (quite rightly in my opinion) match against QOS last Saturday. There has been a few happenings over these four weeks with Stevie Mallan, allegedly having a stinker against Stirling Albion and getting sent of for being a bit of an a**hole and Dick Fotheringham being transferred to Brechin for showing off his "Kevin" in the team photo - did I get this the right way round? We have also seen a couple of old firm matches, the second of which matched up to one of the Lichties "want to be forgotten" matches. It is nice to know that the lads in Maroon are not the only ones who find it hard to press home their extra man advantage - in Celtic's case they looked as if they were struggling against 9 man team as I am not sure if Flo was actually playing for the other team.
