Biography
Mitchell played for local junior team Perseverence and after his first appearance of the 1895-96 season he was lauded with having a fine dribbling style and it said he could turn into a first class centre forward for the club. He only made two further friendly appearances in the team though and mainly featured for our reserves.
He moved to New York, America around 1906 where he continued working his trade as a stone mason.
