Billy Spence

Biography

Billy hit an incredible 112 goals in two seasons with Hill of Beath prior to being signed up in July 1997 by new manager Dave Baikie. In his first seasons at Gayfield he scored 17 goals, playing a big part in the team finishing 2nd and securing promotion from the Third Division. The following campaign he failed to score, and he lost his starting place in the team, featuring more as a substitute and with his last starting appearance in early October he decided to leave the club and return to Hill of Beath in February 1999.
