  • The tension is starting to hit home with the Rovers match being the third last game of the season and the Lichties need only 5 points from these 3 games to ensure promotion (providing RC win all of their games). The 6.30pm kick off at Cliftonhill (our second game their this month), due to there being no floodlights, is a bit of a buggeration factor but this is one of the rare occasions when working in Perth has its advantages as I was able to get to the game on time having picked Shona and Katie up from Falkirk station. Arriving before six in Coatbridge we went to McDonalds for a pre-match meal and ended up having a burger in the lofty company of the John, the Chairman, and some of the committee including new member Mike Caird who was wearing his famous blue anorak. Times must be hard with all the win bonuses they have had to pay out this season.

  • Last Appearance - Arbroath 1 - 2 Alloa

Winter weather was sweeping across Scotland this weekend as I wondered which match to go to on Saturday - the Lichties home match against Alloa or the Scotland vs Wales Rugby match at Murryfield on a freebie. Alas I was not offered a Rugby freebie so it was down to Gayfield as there was no way I was going to pay nearly 30 quid to see a Rugby match.
