Biography

Allan was signed in mid-October 1983 by Ian Stewart after his release by Dundee. Almost a decade after his departure, he was re-signed in early August 1995 by John Brogan after his goals had helped Montrose win promotion the previous campaign. He spent three months at the club before transferring back to Montrose in late October for the same fee of £13,000 that we had initially paid to secure his services.

In November 1997, Allan appeared as a trialist on the bench for a league game against Alloa Athletic, but he never came on.
