Biography

McKenna was initially signed in July 1987 and he was a regular starter during the 1987-88 season before receiving less game time at the start of the following campaign and leaving for Linlithgow Rose in early November 1988. He spent the following few years playing junior football before returning to Gayfield for the start of the 1991-92 season under Walter Borthwick and he was again a regular throughout this campaign before being given a free transfer by Mickey Lawson.
